SEND A KID TO CAMP - 60 Day Giving Campaign

Dear Thousand Pines Family Member,

First of all, we hope this message finds you well and you are enjoying the early part of Spring. We also want to say thank you for your dedication and generosity to the mission of Thousand Pines. We appreciate you!

With Spring here, Summer Camp is just around the corner! Soon, thousands of campers will be heading up to Thousand Pines to see, know, and experience God—some growing deeper in their faith, others meeting Him for the very first time. 

But for some kids, financial barriers stand in the way of this life-changing opportunity. That’s where Camper Scholarships come in. This program exists entirely because of donations—and right now, the fund is running low in comparison to previous years. When the scholarship fund runs low, we start a waitlist—a list of campers who qualify for help but have to wait and see if support becomes available. Last summer, several eligible campers stayed on the waitlist, unable to receive a scholarship simply because the funds weren’t available.

Here in 2025, we want to make it so every camper who needs financial help receives it. And in order to do this, we need your help! 

Through this 60-Day campaign, April 23-June 23rd, we hope to raise $12,000 to fill the scholarship fund.

Here’s how the scholarships work: 

We’ve created a two-tier system based on need: 

- Tier 1: $175 — primarily based on household income 

- Tier 2: $265 — reserved for campers with greater financial challenges, such as those in foster care or are enrolled in state-funded programs 

- Partial gifts can be combined with other donations to create a full scholarship.
