KINEO

\‘KI-NA-O\ [N]
Movement; that which is indicative of life

The Kineo Institute is an 8-month-long, hands-on gap year school of discipleship for young adults. Students will be challenged to grow through a variety of internships, while being led through Biblical training and personal discipleship.

Everything about the Kineo Institute - the living quarters, the ministry opportunities, and the offsite activities - is created to invoke change. Kineo is looking for young adults who want to be constantly challenged to grow - Kineo is for those who are ready to move.

Discipleship
Through the lessons of guest teachers, books and assignments, group projects, personality strength training, and more, individuals in the Kineo Institute are challenged to develop habits that will produce spiritual maturity.
Internships
Students will work with each department at camp, developing a broader overview of how each affects the ministry of Thousand Pines. This allows students to pay their way through the program, making sure costs are met.
Community
The onsite housing provided for our students presents an opportunity for growth in interpersonal relationships and personal responsibility. Every student must comply with Thousand Pines' standard-of-living agreement.
Biblical Training
Our team is passionate about training up students towards maturity in their faith. We believe that taking the time to teach students about God and His word is vital to letting God saturate every area of college-age student’s lives.
Ministry
We believe in making a lasting affect not just for those who walk onto our campsite, but for those in our community as well. Students will have opportunities apply what is being learned in the classroom setting while serving the community.
