DISCIPLESHIP

Through the lessons of guest teachers, books and assignments, group projects, personality strength training, and more, individuals in the Kineo Institute are challenged to develop habits that will produce spiritual maturity.

biblical training

The Kineo team is passionate about training up students towards maturity in their faith so that they are best prepared to transition into their next step of work or college. We believe that taking the time to teach students about God and His word is vital to letting God saturate every area of college-age student’s lives.

internship

Individuals will have the opportunity to work with each of the eight departments - both daily tasks and larger jobs - as well as develop a broader overview of how every department affects the ministry of Thousand Pines as the whole, while working closely with management. This allows our students to pay their way through the program, making sure the program costs are met.

ministry projects

We believe in making a lasting affect wherever we are - not just for those who walk onto our campsite, but for those in our community as well. Each month, our students participate in a local ministry project providing opportunities for them to apply what is being learned in the classroom setting while serving the community.

intentional community

The onsite housing provided for our students presents a continued challenge for growth in interpersonal relationships, and with personal responsibility, all while surrounded by a system of accountability. Female and Male students are housed separately in housing that comes with full amenities, including in-house bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry. Each house has 3-6 bedrooms, which can allow anywhere from 3-4 roommates. Every student must comply with Thousand Pines' standard-of-living agreement, all while taking ownership and responsibility of their living spaces and growing in community.
