IT is well
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.
Jason has served in Church, para-Church, and Christian University settings over the last 20 years. From that experience God has built a great passion for the leaders that are to come and the power of vocation being lived out here and now. He and his wife, Brooke, run Home4Good, a charitable based real estate program that wants to see the world’s orphans come home. While also working towards his PhD from Talbot with an emphasis in Leadership Formation and Spiritual Identity, Jason regularly consults with ministry leaders and teaches at Biola University where he recently contributed a book review in their Christian Education Journal on The Purposeful Graduate by Tim Clydesdale. Instead of long walks on the beach he coaches volleyball there in his spare hours. A fan of all things mountain-related, ice cream, and adventures with his wife, Jason brings a winsome and warm perspective to what it means to hear The Call and have the humility to respond. Also, he thinks bios are awkward, so he made his wife write it.
