Juniors Summer Camp
"Tarzan swinging from a rubber band!" "It's time to learn the ancient Uzamati archery dance!" "The fruit of the spirit's not a watermelon!" Are you ready for your kids to have a camp experience they'll never forget? Our Junior Camp Program offers a summer week that is just for 4th - 6th graders. Hosting a maximum of 80 campers, the staff has time to be more intentional with your children, and get to know them during their week at camp.
This program is designed speicifically for our younger campers. The structured schedule helps campers get the most out of their time at camp. We build games and activities that help campers develop trust through fun experiences with the adults who will minister to them throughout the week. Our time at chapel is designed to keep their attention through energetic worship, silly allegorical skits, and dynamic speakers who speicalize in children's ministry.
Theme Info
We, by nature, endlessly thirst for happiness, seraching for it everywhere. In vain, we scour through and sample everything that the world has to offer. But nothing satisfies. We seek joy in riches and success, in popularity and relationships, and continually explore new pleasures and enjoyments. Yet the thirst only returns with more intensity!
Jesus says, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst." (John 4:13-14a). The grace of Christ is like cold water to a thirsty soul, a fountain of water in the heart of a desert isle. In Jesus, the emptiness of the world disappears. He satisfies so completely that we no longer desire nor have need for the empty pleasures and mirages of the world.
Jesus goes on to say, "Indeed, the water I give him will become in hime a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14b). Our thirst won't just be satisfied in the moment like some stagnant pool. Like a deep well, an ever flowing fountain, Jesus will satisfy forever!
Jesus is an OASIS... the one and only spring of living water in the desert of life!
