How to Get to Thousand Pines Camp

359 Thousand Pines Rd.  Crestline, CA 92325

From Los Angeles Area:

    Take either the 91,60 or 10 Freeways East to the 215 Freeway North in San Bernardino. Take the 215 North to Hwy 210 (approximately 5 miles north of Interstate 10). Proceed East approximately 2 miles and exit Hwy 18/Waterman Avenue.

-OR-

    Take the 210 Freeway East, exit Hwy 18/Waterman Avenue.

THEN

    At the signal (end of off-ramp), turn left and proceed along Hwy 18 toward the mountains, approximately 15-17 miles.  Take Hwy 138 to Crestline (approximately 2 miles).     At the stop sign proceed straight - do not veer left -and follow the signs to Lake Gregory. At the next stop sign, just a 1/4-mile or so, turn left (onto Lake Drive). Follow Lake Drive approximately 1-1/2 miles down into the lower part of Crestline.

    Turn left onto Thousand Pines Road (the first left past Vineyard Bank and across the street from Ace Hardware). Follow the yellow line up Thousand Pines Road into the camp (approximately 1 mile).

From Orange County Area:

    Take the 15 North into Temecula and merge onto the 215 (North) East towards Moreno Valley and Riverside.  Once in Moreno Valley, follow the 215/60 Freeway West (the 60 and 215 share a small stretch of freeway) to the 215 Freeway North towards San Bernardino.  Take the 215 North to Hwy 210 (approximately 5 miles north of Interstate 10). Proceed approximately 2 miles and exit Hwy 18/Waterman Avenue.     At the signal (end of off-ramp), turn left and proceed along Hwy 18 towards the mountains approximately 15-17 miles. From Nevada/High Desert Area:

    Take the 15 South to the 138 Palmdale/Silverwood exit.  Turn left at the 138 exit towards Silverwood. Stay on the 138. Go past Lake Silverwood, and then begin to ascend the mountain.

    Turn left at Old Mill Road. (Ascend & Descend). Turn left onto Lake Drive. Turn left onto Thousand Pines Road (the first left past Vineyard Bank and across the street from Ace Hardware). Follow the yellow line up Thousand Pines Road into the camp (approx. 1 mile ).
